10 Steamy Hot Games to Play This Halloween
Watching horror movies and playing scary games is a typical thing to do during Halloween, so why not make a list of ten steamy games to spice up your Halloween celebrations?
#1 - Evening Starter
First off the list is Evening Starter, a first-person JRPG in which we investigate supernatural cases and kick the ass of the many Lovecraftian horrors that get in our way. While it's not particularly scary, it's fun because of its solid gameplay, pretty art and CG, and enjoyable plot.
Where to find it: Steam, Kagura Games store, DLSite (only in Japanese)
#2 - Boo Party
There's nothing like a big party to celebrate Halloween, and that's where Boo Party comes in. It's an adventure game in which the protagonist accidentally crashes into a Halloween party hosted by monsters and has to run errands to get some spicy pics that prove the existence of supernatural creatures. It's incredibly entertaining, as some tasks and minigames are challenging, plus its eye-catching art and top-tier soundtrack add a lot to the experience.

#3 - Monster College
AVNs set in college are a dime a dozen, but ones featuring monster folks? That's a different story. Monster College puts you in the shoes of a college student who enrolls at Silverleaf University, a college for monsters, after accidentally discovering he's a lycanthrope. What makes it such an easy recommendation for Halloween is that its characters are charming and nicely rendered, and the multiple choices in the story give it a lot of replayability.

#4 - Yes my Lord
Coming next is Yes, My Lord, a JRPG in which we find ourselves inside a strange dungeon, and we have to find a way out with the help of a zombie girl. It's one of my favorite games from 2022 and with good reason. The plot is engaging, the gameplay is solid and original, and the soundtrack and art are on point.

#5 - Sakusei Byoutou trilogy
Raise your hand if you're surprised this trilogy is on the list! …No one?
Silliness aside, Sakusei Byoutou is a kinetic VN that turns the typical fantasy about having a legion of hot nurses treat your inner urges into a series of nightmarish situations, with each being worse than the previous. Its plot is very engaging despite how fetishistic it feels at first, and its production values are through the roof.

#6 - Dark Waters: Gino and the Witch of the Black Swamp
And now we have another VN! This one is about an average guy who searches haunted places and always comes back empty-handed; that's it until he meets Cuca, the witch of the swamp, and spends a few days with her to see if her magic powers are the real deal. It grabs your attention from the get-go thanks to its interesting premise and likable characters, and it doesn't let go until you finish. The art is also pretty, and while it doesn't have many sex scenes, the story alone makes it worth it.

#7 - Heart of Darkness
Moving to the next one, we got Heart of Darkness, a bleak Souls-like HRPG in which the protagonist has to go to the deepest layer of the Sanctuary of Darkness and kill the saint locked inside so the darkness that plagues the kingdom disappears. It's a fun game whether you like depressing stories since the plot is engaging and its gameplay is solid. The art is also nicely done, which is a big plus.
Where to find it: Steam, Denpasoft, Kagura Games store, DLSite (only in Japanese)
#8 - Succubus Prison
Do you know what this list couldn't miss? An escape-room game. Succubus Prison puts you in the shoes of a guy trapped inside the mansion of three succubi and has to get out of there before he runs out of time, or else they'll feast on him. It's a fun game that keeps you glued to the screen from the start, and its gorgeous visuals make losing enjoyable.
Where to find it: Steam, Kagura Games store, GOG, DLSite (only in Japanese)
#9 - Drain Mansion
I heard you like succubi, so I brought another game featuring them. Drain Mansion is a puzzle platformer in which you have to avoid getting captured by the many monster girls crawling in the mansion, or else they'll drain you to death. It's a solid game that'll put your skills to the test by avoiding encounters as much as possible and solving the many puzzles in the game. Moreover, the atmosphere is on point and the pixel art is pretty.
Where to find it: Steam, Itch.io, ZOOM Platform, Kagura Games’ Store, DLSite
#10 - Pact with a Witch
The last one is Pact With a Witch, a visual novel about a guy who was blackmailed into dating a witch for three days after his best friend lost control of himself and got cursed as a result. Its plot is gripping, even though it takes a bit to get going, and its art is unique and beautiful, especially the eyes. Sadly, the VN is unfinished and currently on hiatus, but the first three chapters alone make it worth checking out.
