The Sweetest Ring is an NTR-oriented VN about a guy who meets Sadako, a ghost girl residing in the cursed video he tested his brand-new TV with, and eventually marries her. However, boredom pushed Sadako to explore the protagonist's DVD collection, unaware of the sexy fun times that awaited her in the unmarked DVD she found.
It's similar to Goblin Down as it's also a short kinetic novel that you can beat in under an hour. Even so, the story is entertaining from the beginning to the end because of the sheer absurdity of the plot. For starters, the only reason the protagonist wasn't scared of her when they met was because he mistook her for some hyperrealistic effects he imagined his new TV had, utterly shocking her. What's more, her interactions with the many porn movies she goes in are hilarious as she sometimes isn't aware of what she got into, and other times she does what it takes to alter it just enough to get herself rawdogged.
On another note, the game's visuals are nothing short of beautiful as Sadako's character sprite and the many CGs with her in it are gorgeous, the glitchy effects used at the start of the VN are top-notch, and all sex scenes are nicely animated. As for the sex scenes, it has the usual stuff you'd expect: blowjobs, facials, group sex, etc, while also featuring a scene in which the protagonist sees his wife take a pounding like a champ.
Verdict: Decent
Some may find The Sweetest Ring too short for its price, but the quality of the visuals and how fun its plot is justifies getting it at full price. If a bite-sized NTR kinetic visual novel is what you're looking for, then consider giving it a shot.
