I've been following the development of this game since it got announced a while ago. Its concept, while not novel, caught my curiosity, and its art quality further increased my interest in it. After playing it, I can safely say it turned out to be way better than I imagined.
Pros
Enjoyable story with an endearing cast
Pretty art
Lovely soundtrack
Solid gameplay

The game is still in development, but the devs update it regularly.
Story
Paradise Lust puts the player in the shoes of Jack, a NEET who spends his life playing Love of Magic nonstop. That's it until his brother Rob gets him a job as a bartender on a cruise he works on as its captain. However, things take a turn for the worse when a storm wrecks the ship, leaving Jack and other survivors like some hot models from a beauty pageant, a crazy MILF, and the owner of the cruise and his friend stranded on a desert island in the pacific. Now they must cooperate to find a way to be rescued and find any other survivors, including Jack's brother.
It has been a while since the last time I enjoyed a game’s story so much. It has a lighthearted tone, and the dialogues are silly and full of double entendres. Moreover, all the girls have no problems with Jack banging every girl he meets, to the point they even talk to each other about how much of a stud the protagonist is. That said, the sex and the overall silliness of the dialogues sometimes take a step to the side to give room to develop the characters and explore their motivations, give them some background, and make them grow. The characters also are so lovable you will have a hard time picking a favorite by the time you finish the available content.
By the way, the last thing I expected from the game was to feature a commentary on capitalism, though it’s very fitting. It gives you an idea of how much of a bastard one of the characters is while also explaining why they use a made-up currency despite being stranded on a desert island.
Gameplay
I liked the gameplay aspect of the game. It features elements from different genres like adventure games and dating sims. For starters, navigating the maps is similar to how you do it in HOGs: you click on the different parts of the maps, like doors, caves, and so on, to move from one place to the other. It also features different puzzles like jigsaws, ones where you have to remove the items on top, spot the differences between two pictures, etc.
The dating sim parts are very good too. Each girl has a relationship meter and five different relationship levels: Acquaintance, Friend, Romance, Lover, and Soulmate. Performing tasks and chatting with them will increase it up to a certain point, in which you'll unlock a quest to increase your relationship level. You have to keep an eye on your energy meter, though, because each action consumes energy, and you'll need to rest before you can do anything.
Art
Unsurprisingly, the game’s art is very well done. The characters are good-looking, and each of them has a unique design that makes them easy to tell apart. Unlike some adult or ecchi games that feature girls whose only defining trait is their hair color, they all have unique physical features like different skin colors, faces, chest sizes, etc. The sex scenes are great too. Not only is the art's quality as good as it is in the rest of the game—if not better—but also the animation is very smooth. While all the sex in the game is vanilla and consensual, there's also some variety in it: some scenes feature rough sex, anal sex, roleplay sex, and even threesomes.
Sound
The soundtrack is superb. It gives a tropical vibe to the game, and its tracks are so pleasing to the ear they get stuck in your head. I lost track of how many times I have whistled them while writing this review.
Verdict: Must Play
Paradise Lust is proof that you don't need a unique concept to make an excellent game. Its splendid story and lovely characters, eye-pleasing art, and enjoyable soundtrack make this game a must-buy for any fan of adult games. Furthermore, the game gets new content every month—or earlier if you signed up for the beta—so it's very unlikely it'll get abandoned.
