Lewd Girls, Leave Me Alone! I Just Want to Play Video Games and Watch Anime! – Hentai Edition is a Clicker/VN hybrid in which the protagonist is a gamer who decides to try a dating app his friend recommended to him. However, something always comes up on his dates, and he has to choose what matters to him the most; the girl he’s going out with or his hobbies.
Pros
The characters and the backgrounds are beautiful
The humor is good
The gameplay is decent
Cons
It gets a bit laggy when you accumulate too many clicks
The sex scenes are way too short
There are very few dates
Story
If you’re looking for a game with deep, thought-provoking plots, then look elsewhere because there’s next to no story in this one and the dialogues are extremely short. On the bright side, each of the dates is full of silly jokes and references that will make you chuckle.
Gameplay
The core gameplay is similar to any other clicker: you get points by clicking on the screen, and then you spend them on improving your clicking skills or picking a girl to go on a date with. As solid as the gameplay is, I feel like they could have done much more with this. Rather than making the dates a one-and-done thing, each girl could have a few dates that require more and more points to unlock or add any other features that’d give the game some sense of progress.
Audiovisuals
Artistically speaking, the game is pretty. Both the characters and the backgrounds are pleasing to the eye, but the sex scenes are disappointing. Not only there’s just a scene per character, but also they consist of a single loop that’s so short it’s over in the blink of an eye. As for the soundtrack, it’s nothing to write home about. There are very few songs in it, and none of them stands out.
Bugs & Issues
The game works fine for the most part, but it gets a bit sluggish if you obtain the over 100k clicks required for the “The Wizard” achievement, to the point it takes about an extra second or two for the game to process any of the choices you pick.
Verdict: Maybe?
I’m on the fence about whether I should recommend it or not. I can see fans of clicker games enjoying this one, but at the same time, the game feels incomplete. It still has the potential to become a great game, though it’d be best for you to wait for updates at the moment, at least until it’s out of early access.
