Yeah, I know; I'm a few months too late to drop a No Nut November joke, but it is what it is. St. Yariman's Little Black Book ~Complete~ is a remake of the homonymous game released back in 2011 in which it got a few upgrades, such as better art and a new story.
Pros
Gorgeous art
High-quality soundtrack and voice acting
Likable characters
Cons
Flimsy plot
You play as a recently-divorced chubby guy in his forties who experiences a sexual awakening after getting approached by a student of St. Yariman Academy and pays for her services. Nukiges aren't known for having a deep story, and this one is no exception. Once the prologue is over, you have 3 different scenes for each girl that can be summed up as a little bit of dialogue to set it up followed by them banging like rabbits and describing their actions and feelings in detail. There are also no choices in the game aside from picking which girl you want to go out with, so don't expect any story-altering choices here.
Surprisingly, the characters are very likable despite the lack of development and having the typical personalities you'd find in a VN of this kind. There's the stoic girl who is a pervert deep within, the sultry bombshell, the tomboy who is actually a softie, and so on.
The visuals were what I expected from this game; stunning character design, incredibly detailed CG, and overall a feast for the eyes. The only exception to the rule is the male protagonist, who is drawn as plainly as your typical VN protagonist to make it easier for players to self-insert themselves. Audio-wise, the soundtrack is alright, but the neat voice acting gives the game an extra bit of quality. All the characters' lines are spoken save for the male protagonist's lines which weren't voice-acted for the same reason he was drawn with as few details as possible.
Verdict: Great if you’re looking for a VN with more “PLOT” than plot
St. Yariman's Little Black Book ~Complete~ is the kind of visual novel that'll get you hot and bothered at the drop of a hat but will leave you sorely disappointed if you want a game with more substance. If a nukige with high production values is what you're looking for, then don't think twice and give it a go.
