The first thing that caught my eye about Tune in to the show was its unique premise. In 99% of visual novels with 3D models, you either play as a college student or as a guy who has to "get closer" to his family (if you catch my drift), but in this one, you're just an average dude who was selected to participate in a reality show and has to romance (read: bang) as many female participants as possible to keep the audience engaged and save the career of the show's host.
It's like a slice-of-life visual novel where all the cast does is get to know each other, perform menial tasks, and compete against each other in missions. There are also some mystery elements in the game regarding how strange the whole program is, but there isn't much focus on it in the three episodes the current version includes. As for the cast, they are a lovely bunch with distinct personalities and backstories, even though all the gals more or less have the same goal: to find love in the program.
Visuals-wise, the game is probably one of the best 3D visual novels I've seen so far. All the characters have different and unique designs that range from being so cute you might get diabetes to being so gorgeous you can't help but drool whenever they are on screen. Sadly, the main character doesn't look as good, especially in the scenes where he wears his pajamas. The sex scenes are alright and mainly made of still shots with the occasional animated bit added for effect.
Verdict: Enjoyable
Tune in to the show is a fun visual novel that's still in early access, meaning it's still a work in progress. Whether to get it depends on how much you can wait until it's finished. Get it now if you don't mind playing the three available chapters and playing the rest as it comes out, or if you want to support the project while it's still in EA; otherwise, wait until it's finished.
